How does the service work and where do I start?Start by deciding what kind of cover you need: custom or pre-made. Then fill out the form and submit it. We will respond to your request within 24 hours. For the custom cover design, we will send you a detailed survey form, so you can provide us with all the information we need to know to design the book cover for you. With this email, we will also send you a link to PayPal to pay a 50% deposit.

What is the difference between Pre-made and a Custom Book Cover?A custom book cover design is done in accordance with the information and details you provide. It is tailored to the your storyline and your vision of your novel. A pre-made cover is a book cover design that is done in a style appropriate for a selected genre, but it is generic.

How do you design the covers?To design our custom and pre-made covers, we are utilizing photo manipulation techniques, using the stock photography.

What is your revision process?Usually, the first draft is provided in a black-and-white format. The purpose of the first draft is to ensure that all the elements are included in the design, and you like the general look and feel of the cover. I call the first draft a “conversation starter”. Please be as clear and detailed in your feedback as possible. You need to review it carefully and let me know if you want any changes to be made. It takes time to complete all the requested revisions, so it could be a day or two before you see the next draft. After I am done with all the requested changes, I will send you a color version of the design. In total, you get three or four rounds of revisions, depending on the package you chose.

What size and format are the eBook covers?The finalized version of the eBook covers will be delivered as JPG files, 1600x2560 pixels. This is the standard Kindle size. If you need different sizes please let us know at the time of ordering.

OUR CUSTOM COVER DESIGN PROCESS

First Contact
Contact us via our website and let us know what kind of services you need, your genre and the timeline. We will discuss your ideas and settle on the start date.

Initial Payment
After we agree on all the details, the invoice will be emailed to you. The 50% deposit must be made via PayPal. At that time, we are also going to forward a detailed survey that we need you to fill out and send us back at least a week prior to the agreed start date.

Cover Design
Once we receive your deposit, we start working on the initial concept, which can take 5 to 7 work days from the start date we agreed on. During this time, we may contact you if we have some questions related to the design.

Making It Perfect
(Adjustments)
After we send you the initial concept, please review it carefully and let us know if you need us to do any changes. You get limited rounds of revisions, depending on the package your purchased. It takes usually a couple days before you see the updated design. We will work with you to make sure that the final design meets your expectations!

Final Payment & Delivery
Once you approved the final design, you will need to send us the last payment. After we receive your payment, the finalized design file will be forwarded to you. The finalized files for the eBook package would include the eBook Cover, 3D book render, and title page in JPG format. (For more information, please visit our Pricing page)
